A step by step guide on how to book your swim:

  • Use the information provided under the Swims tab in the menu to help you decide which swim course is best for you.

  • Dates are colour coded to correspond with tides and the swims they are suitable for. Round Jersey swims can only be booked on yellow tides, blue and green are suitable for Jersey to France swims. For any other swim courses or 2 way swims, you should email Matt to discuss the best options for you. Dates that are greyed out have already been taken.
  • When you have decided on a suitable date, email your request to Matt to confirm suitability and availability. The diaries are updated regularly but may not be completely accurate.
  • In each 5 day tide, 2 bookings may be taken, slot 1 and slot 2. Slot 1 will have first option to accept or decline any offer to swim, based on weather etc. The next suitable window will then be offered to slot 2.
  • Once a date has been agreed, a contract will be emailed to you which also contains the terms and conditions and payment details. Check the swim details are correct, you can then complete and sign the contract on your desktop or mobile device. A copy of the completed contract will automatically be sent to your inbox.
  • The contract form will ask you to select a ratifying authority if you intend to use one. For more details on ratification, have a look here.
  • From the time the contract has been sent to you, the agreed date will be held for a maximum of 7 days for you to complete the contract and arrange the payment. After 7 days, the slot will be put back into circulation.

Payment:

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due on or before the 31st January in the year of the swim.
  • The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. Cheques may also be accepted. Sorry, we do not have the facility to accept card payments.
  • Bank/payment details can be found on page 2 of your contract.
